Boulder Supply.com announces the introduction of their "Waterfall in a Basket Kit". The pond and waterfall can easily be constructed by two people in less than a weekend. The kit contains everything a homeowner needs to create a 4 foot by 12 foot pond and waterfall. The kit contains the various rocks, pond liner, pump, hose and other necessary materials. In addition, the kit contains an instructional video and a manual containing our secrets to building a pond system that does not leak, and a waterfall where the water goes over the rocks, not under them!
Your system can be built against a hillside or bank, on flat ground (using the soil from the pond excavation to form your elevation), or even on a concrete slab!
The kit is designed with the do-it-yourself homeowner in mind. It contains real mountain granite from the mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. Each kit is loaded by hand to ensure that all of the rocks can be lifted and placed by the average homeowner. Rocks included are round river rock, Smokey Mountain granite step rocks for building elevations, ring rocks for holding the liner in place, and at least four large flat stones for creating the cascades.
The Waterfall in a Basket Kit has a suggested retail price of $1099.00. Waterfall in a Basket Kits weigh approximately 1.5 tons. Delivery is available at additional cost. Boulder Supply.com is currently setting up dealerships across the country to market the waterfall kits. Local dealers will not only sell and deliver waterfall kits but install them as well. Up to 60% of those expressing interest in the kits say that they do not have the time or desire to install the kit themselves, but would rather have it installed for them. Installed systems range in price from $2100 to $2400 depending upon whether the homeowner desires the waterfall to be installed on a bank or hillside, a flat space in the yard or on a slab or deck.
Boulder Supply.com harvests mountain granite from steep mountain terrain in Haywood County and turns otherwise unusable land into usable home sites. "We sell locally as well as export rock for use in construction and landscape purposes".
